Well, one of my favorite directors is Eric Rohmer. I guess that would qualify for the first category. I dig John Waters. I guess that covers the second category. I was right on top of the Chinese New Wave: Farewell My Concubine, Raise the Red Lantern, Red Firecracker Green Firecracker, To Live!, not to mention Taiwanese movies like Eat, Drink, Man, Woman. Liked The Scent of Green Papaya. Pretty well covered on the third category. But I like all sorts of movies......
