DJN: DJ Gabelli Asset Mgmt Increases Leap Wireless Stake To 12.6%

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--A group including Gabelli Asset Management Inc.
(GBL) raised its stake in Leap Wireless International Inc. (LWIN) to 12.58%,
according to a filing Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
On May 28, the group reported having an 11.59% stake in the San Diego-based
cellular service provider.
The group beneficially owned 4.7 million common shares of Leap Wireless
after buying 489,150 shares and selling 133,050 shares from May 24 to last
Wednesday for 74.25 cents to $3.22 a share, the filing said.

Dave -- I agree (that S.E.C. filings are not very "user friendly" for someone who wants to know what the story is all about ... in about 15 seconds).

The WSJ still had not done their usual brief synopsis when I posted.

I see that they have done so, since then ...
