Hello X the Unknown. You said...." Most fanatics can be deadly. I'm not sure the religion matters all that much. You know? ".....

Yes I know what you mean. It's just that at this particular time in history it is again the muslim religion that is causing most of the world problems and to try to pretend it is not happening is crazy. Different religions have been killing innocent people throughout recorded history in the name of whatever god they worship. Not all persons within any religion are fanatics but some are and in the case of the muslims there appears to be millions and millions of fanatics, whole countries whose government is the religion of islam. I think it is very clear to anyone paying attention that these islamic terrorist care nothing for human life and not even their own. IMO they represent a serious threat to civilized persons everywhere and must be and will be stopped.

Where are all the so called moderates in the islam religion? Why do they not distance themselves from the fanatics? And IMO the media still play down the crimes of islam. I guess there is a real concern of revenge being taken on anyone who looks Middle Eastern....A real concern..

X the Unknown. That is good handle. However, after reading your post, seems to me that Unknown is becoming somewhat clearer who you are. Yes indeed, we can get into more of the recent riots in India. But as you rightly point out and also to Lorne's observation, it is not the religion.

Lorne raises the issue of moderates being silent. Well, Gandhi a Hindu was assassinated by an extremist Hindu. Rabin a Jew was assassinated by a extremist Jew. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, a Muslim and a democratically elected Prime Minister of Pakistan was assassinated by a Muslim general, Zia ul Haq. So the forgoing instances does corroborate the fact that that from the Hindu-Muslim riots in India, or the Christian-Protestant riots in Ireland, that we can conclude if a religion is bad or not.

Do you think Osama is alive? The PAkistani President has several times claimed that he is dead. But he has not stated that emphatically. You would tend to think that considering the hold that the ISI (Pakistani CIA) has in that region, they would know about him one way or the other, if not his whereabouts, at least if he is alive or not. I am sure that the stock market will get a tremendous boost if news about his death proves to be true.
