Mr. Elliott,

I'm back from vacation and trying to catch up...

In wiggle speak, do you think the move up starting on
Wednesday and ending Friday, was impulsive in structure
with today's action being corrective a,b, and possibly
completing c (perhaps down a wee bit more to the 38% fib)?

That seems to be the way Hochberg is leaning.

Could this possibly be the "TBT" (Tommy Bear Turn).

OR are you leaning more towards the breakdown of your right
shoulder in the $SPX from that longer range chart you
posted last week?

Also...

A couple other Off Topic bits for ya...

As a Yankee fan I'm beginning to wonder (or fear) if Teddy
Baseball, the Splendid Splinter will now be able to to
remove the curse of the Bambino...
Perhaps the Sox are only a few trades away.

(I love pumping life into the Bosox fans only to watch 'em
fall with the autumn leaves.) <vbg>

Now onto politics... (which I know is not a good idea to
bring up here since there are plenty of threads with that
in mind)

It seems to me that GWB's greatest mistake is putting
national self-interest ahead of global interest.
Protectionism paints the US as a greedy bully instead of a
global leader.

It is not forward thinking.
It splits up the world once again into tiny pieces with
walls around to keep each other out.
It divides the world rather than working together as a
collective whole.

We spend far too much time building tall walls instead of enjoying the scenery.

JMHO

of the beer in that half empty mug of his...>

Who gives a shit what other countries think? As soon as they get in trouble they will come crying to Uncle Sam to bail them out as before and guess what, we will, we have no choice. Other countries need someone they could talk too? How about someone who will tell the truth?? Maybe that is not important in Europe. My step daughter's Grandparents live in London and they are native to England, and , they know what a cluntz Clintion is. BTW, England needs some one like Thatcher back. Blair seem incompetent to me.
