Can someone explain to me why it's so hard to precisely value Treasury notes?

6:44pm 07/08/02 GREENSPAN'S HOLDINGS LAST YEAR WERE IN TREASURY NOTES
6:44pm 07/08/02 GREENSPAN'S HOLDINGS VALUED $3MLN TO $6.2MLN LAST YEAR

So which was it? $3 million or $6.2 million?

>>Bush is off fighting windmills while the real problem goes undiscussed. <<

That problem is the solution in their minds -- it's all about confidence -- confidence to spend well beyond ones means because that increases economic activity, which spurs investment, which increases profits, which sends stocks back up, which makes the consumer more willing to spend, which ... increases the price of the house that Jack bought.

AA, in my opinion, the credit issue with consumers is going to crush our economy. Low interest rates continue to keep the noose open around the collar of mom and pop lunch bucket. Keep refinancing all that debt, and buy more junk. This is not a good sign.
