A friend of mine has a microbiologist daughter who decided to do here Peace Corpse social duty...and she was sent to Uganda, north of Kampala. She learned that the males believed the way to avoid getting "the slims" is to have as much sex with as many women--and young men--as possible. Anal intercourse is common.
