I agree with much of your post. If you were a CEO/CFO right now and you knew your books were cooked would you be more/less likely to come clean and admit in advance of the hard legislation that everyone knows is coming? Personally, I would rather be picked apart right now, assuming of course we're not talking about numbers as large as WCOM's. Right now Washington has its hands full besides having the luxury of yesterday's legislation.

Earnings season could be very interesting.
