I wasn't interested in debating the diet (I've heard of the Atkins diet for some time now). I was just commenting on the enthusiasm you wrote for something, anything, after reading a single internet article. My comment may not reflect the reality of your thought process, but the prose of the revelation reminded my of the enthusiasm I often see here for ideas just because some authority staked a claim on them. Where is independant thought in America?
