One comment about Bush's speech today. Not really related to the biz ethics stuff, but more to some of his assertions about a strong base being built for recovery.

One of the things that he mentioned was "productivity". I think that he said something like the productivity numbers increasing by 4x or 6x. Don't remember the exact figure. Anyway, this doesn't necessarily indicate an increase in real productivity to me. What I immediately thought of is all of the layoffs that we have had. It sounds like the same work is being done by fewer people. And what that means is that businesses had to many people on the payroll in the first place. So, right now the "productivity" is just returning to a healthy level.
