Maybe it's about birds of a feather. As far as I am concerned, however, I think it has more to do with do unto others. It's definitely been my experience that if one treats others with respect they treat you in the same way.

>Sadly, there are just too many comments regarding the problems at SI, as we well know where there is smoke, usually fire can't be far behind.

I'll cross the bridges as they come but I am sorry to learn of the problems at SI because I have really learned a lot here and had a lot of fun at the same time.

>If one focuses only to the present problems, easy to loose sight of the future.

I must say, and with all due respect, if you are able to foresee the future then you are a very gifted person indeed. From my point of view, I have never known times like these before and the more I think about it the more I believe we are witnessing a paradigm shift in the whole scheme of things. What many people fail to appreciate is the world is not as it was 50 years ago. In particular, the economic muscle and with it the importance of the East has developed enormously and, increasingly, at the expense of the West.

Indeed, the war against "terrorism" may have little to do with terrorism and a lot to do with the West (US) valiantly trying to maintain its position in the economic and political hegemony of nations.

>The fly in the ointment is the oversold US market

Technically so, but the market is also telling us that something is seriously wrong and I don't believe one can ignore that. Perhaps this article gives a clue.
