The letter from the SEC was sent in late 1993. If you think Bush's father was president then, you need to study some history.

Sorry, the investigation began in 1991 and the internal memo stating the conclusion of the investigators released by Bush is from early 1992. Bush's lawyers requested a no action letter in 1993. If the investigation had continued into 1993 then the administration's 1992 memo's conclusions aren't very relevant are they? It shouldn't take a Harvard MBA to know that you can't loan money to insiders to buy a subsidiary and book it as a profit.
