I did try it. But I don't think it was a fair test, because the regular pillow underneath didn't provide a neutral, ie flat, foundation, or pillow-raiser. Because it squashes unevenly, more at the front edge of the pillow than at the rear one, because of the weight of your head, so your neck isn't held straight.

I could try it on top of the second tempurpedic pillow, but that's not flat, either. Hey, I could scotch tape kitchen sponges...

I think I just really like a plump down pillow. And my tempurpedic mattress.

Did you see the commercial for tempurpedic that shows them throwing raw eggs at a tempurpedic mattress and the eggs not breaking? What a strange substance.
