What do you think AMD should do? I don't know either given the current circumstances. I am not so quick to write off AMD's current management as you are. The past mismanagement has left the new management with few options. I would classify the sins of the past as an inability to match Jerry's dreams with AMD's capabilities. With few exceptions AMD has designed beyond their ability to manufacture, leaving them with poor availability at the market sweetspot. The blind hatred for Intel caused Jerry to kill or sell off everything available, even profitable divisions that required funds for R&D. Even the selling of the HQ building to raise cash. A Greek tragedy or Shakespeare play could have been written about Jerry and how hate drags a person down. And the Droids... That's another story in itself... EP
