Maybe Wall Street is more concerned about the Enrons and WorldComs of this world to try and find an AMD that flies under the radar.

It has resulted in several shareholder lawsuits over the years. These are generally settled, when they are settled at all, out of court. You have to read the 10K's to find the disclosures of the settlements.
