People need to be careful where they put their money, though. With a debt to cash ratio of about 6 to 1, there's a reason Buffett bought LVLT debt and not equity, but I doubt most equity investors understand the distinction.

At debt to cash ratios of about 1-2 and 1-1, respectively, CIEN and JNPR are less likely to see equity go to zero.

Maybe all those college students taking telecom courses aren't brain dead after all. <g>

Outside telecom- today's market behaviour is not particularly encouraging. The friday gap up is nearly filled. Looks like it is filled on the NDX. Let's see what happens after the gaps are filled..
