Re NOK / IBM another fragmented standard?

The last paragraph of that anouncement says: "Both Nokia and IBM are active members of the newly formed Open Mobile Alliance (OMA). OMA is the nearly 200-member company organization charged with delivering open standards for the mobile industry, helping to create interoperable services which work across countries, operators and mobile terminals and are tailored for user’s needs."

<< Re NOK / IBM another fragmented standard? >>

No.

IF you have been paying attention ....

,,, and is it obvious that you have not been pa6yin attention to anything...

,,, and if you have some comprehension of where things are heading ....

.... wireless mobile telephony has elected to do Java SIM and Java Phone.

Qualcomm has elected to make BREW proprietary (closed not open).

They will once again position themselves outside of the mainstream and suck hind tit as a consequence.

I challenge you to comntr8ibute an intelligent well researched post to this thread.

I have not sen one recently from you and you are currently challenging JohnG and c2 for thread moron.

Do you have ANYTHING to contribute here?
