Mark, I love the comment, "the US is in the midst of a monetary experiment running amuck." That doesn't sound good. BTW, while you are looking at yield, be sure to check out the AAA closed end funds preferreds yielding from 6.8% to 7.6%. However, ex GAB/PRB, they all have call risk.

20 year AAA bond pricing still extremely volatile; per BondTalk yield summary, the 20 yr AAA yield dropped to 4.15% vs 4.06% on the 5 yr. An new twist this week though, two year AAA yields are rising.

Given what has transpired of late, I take this as a bad omen. I sure hope it is much ado about nothing.
