POLITICAL PRISONERS

Charles,

I was quite surprised when I listened to the news on NPR this morning about the spirited defense that Zacharias Moussaoui is putting up against overwhelming odds. He's not rolling over like the Puerto Ricans, not by a long shot.

I'm gratified that this show trial of an obvious scapegoat isn't the slamdunk the A$$croft Right Wingers had hoped for. Maybe Americans will begin to comprehend just how out-of-control our govenment can get when it gets on a vendetta publicity stunt.

Wouldn't it be more sensible to quietly and simply deport the creep? Naw, too sensible.... <g>
