Is your MM fund run by Allied Capital (which does mezzanine financing) or Alliance Capital (a large financial institution, operates mutual funds, manages institutional money, etc)? The two companies are worlds apart.

It may not be a good place for your capital. Have had a look at an excellent research piece that really trashes the company's accounting methods. The research looks solid to me.
