I was amazed at how mild the overall reaction was in this country to 9-11 (in terms of harassment of Arabs). This is one area where Bush (and a variety of other politicians) deserve a ton of credit.

it was "not so mild" for those on the recieving end. I thank my neighbors and friends, not the US government.
