Tenchu, Remember, in snakes the teeth point in, as in Intel. Once AMD is gone up will go the prices to whatever the market will bear. They will probably try for $500 for new CPUs and the price ramp will be slower and the decrements in price smaller, shades of history.

So What. Ya wanna know something?? I don't want lower prices. Lower prices means lower ASP's means lower profits means lower stock value. That doesn't work for my "Investment Strategy". On the other hand, like most people, I buy a computer every 4-5 years. I'm willing to pay a couple of thousand more every 5 years, if it means that I make 10's of thousands of dollars in the meantime. Be an Investor, think with your head, instead of your heart. Or at least, pause for a moment, and take off those "Glasses".
