the last analyst day, which was covered in its entirety on oracles e-business network, was a whole day affair. very detailed and elaborate.

oracles web site, the last time i look, did not give out information on the meeting but said it would be shown live. go to oracle.com and look under investor relations.

rocky.

I was reading an "analysis" story about Oracle that I found via Yahoo!, and it was enough to make me despair of financial reporters (that is, that they are even stupider than analysts). The story talked about how tight a ship ORCL runs, but then said that one open question was how much ORCL could reduce R&D investment before hurting future growth. Since Larry and Jeff stated explicitly (and twice) in the CC that ORCL had increased the R&D headcount 12% last year, I can't figure out what it takes to get people to actually hear something.

Hi Liz...any word from other sources besides SI on what took place at the ORCL conference call? What were the responses from those attending?
