My party? Which is that? The only parties I belong to are the ones at my house. I've been burned too many times by political "parties" The only cure for this country's poisoned politics is full access and disclosure on everything, and any individual who goes in that direction like McCain or Ron Paul gets my support, regardless of party. Eventually decent people will run for office, once openness and trust is restored. Meanwhile, the Republicans are too dishonest and fascist, and Democrats too weak and easily controlled. Both are patsies for those who use covert means for control and theft from the treasury. As far as "doing admirably", check the markets and the sense of American security. Both at extreme lows and continuing down. As far as "polls", it is well known that a public will support its military leadership in time of military threat. It's a mistake to consider that to be any sort of "popularity" for any other purposes.
