So, you feel the Market responds to presidential polls? Let's see here...that would mean that the folks who would never vote for Bush swayed the situation more than those who were favoring him. Of course, the election was so damn close...and known to be ahead of election day. Perhaps Gore's position in the polls had the similar effect(after all, no one had real confidence who would win).

Frankly, I think your point is purely meaningless as to real causes.
