Paul, I actually looked for the guru end-of-year index estimates and could not find them in Barron's. Has anyone else seen them? Paul, Nancy led me to look at charts differently and I saw what I had missed before: today's price is not far above the price in Feb '99 when SEMI bookings were just a little lower than in May '02. Today Applied has almost 3x the backlog it had in Feb '99. For the full reply to Nancy please see Message 17714374 And please tell me if you see the same thing. That might put a bottom under AMAT.
