Check the bottom in '95/'96. I believe the '98 low was ~2.5 times the '96 low.

IMHO, you are right on the money with that post. This downcycle one cannot merely look at PSR to gauge stock prices(at least with AMAT) since bookings and backlog are much stronger than at the nadir of previous downturns. I believe this is the first time both the longs and the shorts are left scratching their heads.
