You forgot IJ. How could you forget IJ? The God of wireless, the futuristic innovator/visionary.

When I joined TI in 1966, the original entrepreneurs were still running the company. Pat Haggerty, imo a giant in the industry, was Chairman, and I often heard him speak of his dream of making semiconductors pervasive in both consumer and industrial products. I also had the opportunity to hear the philosophy (and have a few drinks) with Jack Kilby, who holds the original patent on the integrated circuit.

Well, am I supposed to be impressed?

I called IJ last week. His personal secretary answered the phone, and IJ was out. I tried to get some answers to an investors questions. I failed, but at least I tried.

I also used to sit in a cafe in Aspen listening to Claudine Longet argue with Spider Savige week after week until Claudine blew him away with her pistole'. I don't think that lead me to where I am today.

What is your opinion of LTB&H strategy? Got any tips?

I want statistics.

;) M

PS I'm a mixture of Norwegian and Irish. That is why I am so ornery.

Mr. Market can be as fickle as he wants on a short term basis, but over the long run, he'll reward successful innovators generously.

Well then, perhaps if we changed our positions to successful innovators from one of passive stockholders, we could expect to be rewarded.<ggg>
