The women I mentioned were all democratically elected by the men folk and their women folk.

I am curious: Which Islamic countries give women the right to vote on the same basis as men? I honestly don't know the answer. I think if most Americans had to guess, they would say that women don't have the right to vote in places like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, but I would be guessing. Does anybody on the thread know the answer? Thanks.....

Incidentally, U.S. women have only had the right to vote nationwide in less than half of the 200-plus years of this country.
