What better stock than ATT, which pays 1.5%, lost $4 bil last year, is rumored to be dropped from DJIA, cant sell their IPO. Yes, dividends are questionable.
Those averages much worse than they appear, since they continue to drop losers and add winners to keep up appearances. Like those dropped from the S+P today.
Exmples of less known stocks I am still working with are ally, geacf, tsco, brli, and bprx. Not much recent progress- kinda holding their own but doing better than the average
bprx was added to the R2000 and is moving up

Agreed!!

Criteria :

Low valuation with lots of room to grow
Non-complicated accounting and/or financials
Small Float ( preferably with large insider holdings and/or buying)
Good growth and good growth prospects
Solid Management
In a Solid Sector
Good Partnerships/Customer Base, with room for many more customers/sales
Good technologies/products
Good financial position ( little or no debt, or well on track to erase debt )
Good Cash Value per share

some investors are getting into the preferreds now...

SBC preferred shareholders are getting 7% i believe...
