Watch as some of your beloved Democrats also shoot themselves in the foot as they throw mud at Bush's efforts. Like I said, it's all about politics. New laws will be passed, more bureaucracy will be created, and the politicians will claim victory over the "other side." Meanwhile, the shenanigans will continue to find loopholes. Tenchusatsu, its not politics that is causing this non stop sell off in the markets. This corporate shenanigans is a major problem.....and poses a threat not only to our corporations and our markets but this country's standing as a financial safe haven in the world. The fact that it took Bush so long to get on board[and many non politicos are saying he still isn't on board] with fighting corporate fraud, and that his own corporate history is somewhat questionable does not make this situation any better. And to make matters worse, he sounded like he was spinning yesterday, and that typically is not his style. ted
