THE HYENAS AT THE GATE: 300 points on Friday? Scott, When the PPT and the broker-dealers goosed the market last Friday, I suspected the action we'd be getting this week. A conspiracy theorist might even conclude that they had hoped for this "action" as a means to scare out some more weak hands, as we inexorably slide toward a real "bear" market which we aren't in yet, on the basis of comparable P/E ratios. This is going to get really ugly. And when the market reaches it nadir, the hyenas of Wall Street and the scoundrels who surround the Bush Crime Cabal International (BCCI) are going to have cash to pay for distressed assets. It's all just a game to them. They don't give a damn about the millions of honest Americans whose futures they have put at risk.
