Chaz,

I don't know how your 401(K) systems works but if it does not allow and even encourage professional management of funds then that is a big problem. If professional management is an option and people choose not to use it, then they get no sympathy from me.

They trusted their boss, who betrayed them.

That part I agree with. The Enron HR veep that was telling employees that Enron stock was a great deal while she sold hers on the sly. She should get burned big time.

I happen to believe that some of these executives are going to go to jail. I think that some in government realize that confidence will only be restored if investors start believing again in the over all fairness of the market place and that will happen only if some of the guilty are punished.

But that and any thing else that comes out of this is not going to change crowd reactions during a bubble. And there is going to be another bubble-10-15 years from now. Some folks think it might be in real estate again. Who knows.

I can hardly wait for the roar of the Bull. <g>
