Chris Caldwell has a good article

Caldwell has a superb article that really makes me "shake my head". It is not just what is happening with the Islamic population in France, it is that the French Elite refuse to face it.

One quote that hit home to me was from a successful young Arab that was being interviewed for the article.

"The people who succeed around here," says Hamza, "are the ones who keep their distance from the American culture of baseball caps and basketball shoes."

It made me think how much I hate that culture also. I wear my cap backwards when I Moped, and I swear it drops my low IQ another 20 points. :>)

That Caldwell article was excellent, thanks for posting it.

Howerver, a lot of the problem really stems from France's basic "out of sight, out of mind" attitude concerning the badly planned and managed housing projects north of Paris and elsewhere. Now the problems there are no longer "out of sight", but who has the money to fix things ?

And it's going to cost big time to do anything about those dysfunctional schools or even do proper policing to eliminate the fun and games with burning cars and other criminal activity that goes on constantly.

France would not have such a headache now with Islam if they had not let things get out of hand the way they have, and this is despite colonial history with Algeria or North African / Maghreb immigration levels.
