I keep waiting for the external bad news event. Bad things happen in price declines. They seem unrelated, but they are not. The bulls would blame this for subsequent melt, just as they blamed 9/11, which was clearly not the case and which the bears said was not the case as stocks surged forward 40%, 60%, 80%, what have you (during the fall bear market rally).
