Wasn't talking about the late paperwork, JD.

I was talking about the phony profits generated by the Enron-style insider partnership.

Hell, maybe Enron learned the tax-avoidance and stock fluffing up strategy from Harkin... I don't know.

But fraudulent books are fraudulent books....

Anyway, there seems to be a pretty spirited debate going on on this thread about the whole matter:

Why not call for Bush to ask the SEC to just release their files on the Harkin episode... since he has nothing to hide.

If it all looks clean, then that would stop the political damage to Bush in it's tracks.
