Vegetarians going mainstream?

Heck, I thought we were already mainstream! Of course, in my part of the country, that's easy to say ... but have you ever tried to find something to eat in a Marriott in, say, Louisville, Kentucky? One can only order so many "cheeseburger, extra cheese, hold the burger's." :)

If you take away the silly (IMHO) semantics about whether one is a pesco-vegetarian, sometimes-vegetarian, or whatever, what remains is that we're all travelling on this same road, in the same direction, together. That's pretty darn exciting. I wish that the Time article had done a better job of conveying the excitement and thrill of discovery we know is out there for those just beginning to explore vegetarianism, and indeed for all who are still wondering whether they should take the vegetarian plunge. It would have been terrific if they had dwelt a bit more on the tremendous benefits of an adult's vegetarian diet.

I know: step by step, inch by inch. At least we're on the cover of Time, and that is pretty darn exciting.
