Power talks louder than money, and oppresses more thoroughly. The left's lust for power must be defeated by any means necessary. THEY are the enemy...

It's too bad that something couldn't have been done to circumvent this debacle, but it's our nation's great good luck that all this is blowing up now. And it's nice that Bush's platitudes aren't acceptable, that real reforms loom on the horizon. Had it been Enron only exposed, they may have been able to sweep this to the side as anomalous. Now, NO. I know there are those who blame investors for the dilemmas they face due to the downturn in the market, but when something that has always been white turns black unbeknownst to the investing public, we have been duped by the corrupt. Which is why I feel that myself and others buy into that axiom, hurt me once shame on you, hurt me twice, not investing again. (simplistic terms as a courtesy to republicans here)
