It's already graduated at the low end of profitability. Perhaps you advocate increasing the rate at higher levels of profitability.

Personally, I don't think that would solve what I view are the bigger problems with large corporations. There are too many loopholes, targeted tax breaks, tax credits, subsidized products, and other unbalanced government concessions given to institutionalized corporations. All of these materialize as a result of corporate lobbyists.

A few years ago a friend of mine, who is a well known "institutional" capitalist, spent some time at the WH with the Clintons talking business. He told me they were very knowledgeable about big business and government's involvement, but had absolutely no concept or perspective on what drives small business or what issues small business people face. "It's a different language to them," he said. This is a direct result, IMO, of big business lobbyists who get the face time to educate and persuade politicians into government concessions.
