In the context of those bears.....

Saw an article where Alaska fish and game along with national parks is warning people about bears. Seems there have been too many incidences with bears.

They suggested wearing little bells to avoid surprising them. And taking along pepper spray.

Then added you should be on the lookout for signs of bears. Manure is a good sign...

Black bear manure is comparatively small and contains lots of berries and squirrel fur.

Grizzly bear manure has little bells in it and smells like pepper."
