Actually, you are the one who accused me of being a liar.

no, actually i said: lets see this data, and maybe we can get to the bottom of this, to see if you missinterpreted it, or it was incorrect or what....

you decide that not providing it was your best answer.... whatever....

lets see, your link is from a July 3, you said you posted this link on this brd .... and that the data was directly from apple, their marketing department i believe you said.....

both case you are incorrect, i'm not calling you a liar, just poster that is providing very incorrect statements losely and in a manner that can be construed as not very useful.....

.did you or did you not say that you were getting this directly from apple? and that you provided this link before?......

the link shows 3.48% marketshare total US sales and 2.4% worldwide sales....

both figures include business sales, a market which apple is not in.....this is how you are misinterpreting me... and why i said apple's market share depends on what market it is in....

if you look at the market apple is in, the consumer and education market, you will find that apple has about 5% market in the conusmer market, and 30% in the education, both can easily be looked up.... from these same types of research firms...

these real share figures for apple surge when apple releases new products, and comes back down to this level inbetween.... as i said they did......
