Doug, [corrected] I'm an options newbie but bought some Jan '04 $20 calls on July 2. for $4.30 [as posted on the Full Disclosure thread]

Today's quote finance.yahoo.com

I always use Datek or Schwab for a quote just before buying.
I also own some under water July calls and am sweating bullets over them. :)

If you believe AMAT will prosper, the '05 $20 leaps give you plenty of discretion on when to sell. Even if AMAT hits 15 I'd still go with the $20 strike because it's cheaper.

Note: these were Jan '04 calls [not '05 as I stated previously]

Gottfried
