Let's look at this logically. What kind of "wrongdoing" could he have conceivably have been guilty of? It has been previously investigated (at least 3 times) as to whether he was working on inside information, and he has been shown to be free of wrongdoing. As to the late filing of the form, it is important to keep in mind that THAT would be criminal only if there was intent to defraud -- however, the fact the he filed the original return indicating his planned liquidation is proof positive there was no intent to defraud. You really aren't defending him after he explained away the Harkness problem by hesistatingly saying there can be confusion in accounting and not all accounting is "black and white". Funny, that's what his friends at ENE said too........I guess getting transparency is virtually impossible, huh? But I forget ole dubya is an honest injun, isn't he?Bottom line: What kind of wrongdoing could Bush conceivably be guilty of in this matter? How many times does it need to be investigated? Is three or more not enough? I'll let the investigation determine that......you know how that ole saying goes....... where there's smoke, there's fire.....or how about, it may be just the tip of the ole iceberg. You'd think after three years and three requests for explanation, he could at least have a good reason for not submitting the SEC info on time. But his crowd just doesn't think that stuff is real important. This is clearly an attempt on the part of the Democrats to smear Bush, just like was done with the racist ad in Texas during the campaign. And it pleases me to see it backfiring on the scoundrels who are doing it (Carville & Associates). Its Bushit and it needs to be exposed. Next we'll work on Cheney.........now how often do you see a CEO do an advertisement for an accounting firm? And guess which firm he went to bat for........cronism rules in corporate America.
