Anyway, pcpitstop.com is a reliable site, sponsored by PC World Magazine. I don't know if you'll even notice the slight speed advantage of cable over DSL and there is the matter of reliability. I have no info on that because I've only used cable for a month. There is info here dslreports.com The trouble with these user ratings is they may not apply to MY experience with the supplier. Same as with cars [got a lemon after consulting Consumer Reports and buying the highest rated truck etc]. But you know all that. Good luck. Gottfried PS: last night cable ISP went out for 10 minutes. Since cable TV also went blank, I didn't even call the ISP. Power outage maybe.
