Incaviglia defined the term "barrel-chested", didn't he? 5'8" tall, massive strength, never got cheated when he took a cut. I recall the same about him never playing a game in the minors.

'86 was also the year Will Clark hit San Francisco with quite a buzz.

Wally Joyner was HUGE initially in So Cal, but cooled long before people realized he would never be a real power hitter.

For a good laugh, compare the physiques of Bonds and McGwire in 1986 and in 2000. They must have hit the weights with a vengeance.
