Our School district is 10 miles long and NO school
busses at all.

I hire 1 to 2 high school honor students to help out at my busimess. Town is totally wired for acble form Comcast. I routinely screen resumes by throwing out all resumes that don't have Comcast domain email or their own web domain.

Broadband internet access for students is like having a libray 20 times the size in front of your fingertips as compared to browsing with 56K. Kids without broadband internet access are at severe competitive disadvantage in this hi-tech world.

Screw the school buses and let Bill Gates provide terminal server licenses to every student in the district. Like you said PII doesn't make a difference in speed relative to P4 for web browsing. Microsoft terminal server even works on Windows 3.1 and a 386.
