RE:"Jesse's quitting politics.....he didn't like all the public scrutiny......and I think Minnesotans are glad he's taking his body slam and vacating the capital. It was an experiment with mixed results.
But he has some of the attributes of a 3rd party candidate......quirky but smart at the same time. He was just a little too quirky and apolitical"

I know he's not running agin but is he quitting politics?

Yes, I think he's going into business or doing something on tv........the party he represented was very disappointed.

I really can't speak for all minnesotans but IMHO the experiment was a huge success. It showed a 3rd party candidate ould defeat the big money parties.

Yes, but that's MN.......it has a tradition of electing third party candidates to office. However, there was also the actual tenure......that's what got mixed results. And it didn't help that his son threw wild parties at the Governor's Mansion.

Not sure quirky is a necessary attribute of a third party. Maybe honestly will be enough.

Its seems nowadays being honest is almost considered a quirky attribute. When I say quirky, I mean they have to be different then the politicos from the main parties. Ventura's quirkiness had an edge to it that I think helped him get elected.
