portage,

Excellent observation about the Thief-In-Chief. As to the legislative frenzy that is going on now, it is important for us to not lose sight of the the fact that all this sturm und drang is mere window dressing. None of the criminals who caused this crisis in confidence are facing prosecution. The Bushies are stalling real retribution for malfeasance and fraud. Commencing the prosecutions will have a very salutary effect on the markets. Until Bush gets real, the markets will continue to unravel.

LOL..!!

IMO, Shrub, Cheney, Pitt & Co. should ALL resign...they have NO credibility when it comes to effectively dealing with corporate crime and corruption...Will there be a resignation or an impeachment...? Just wondering....IMO, its too bad that the straight shooter John McCain is not the President.
