John on your next cross fire. Please cover the washington post flash... bush took company loans in the 80's totaling $180,375 to buy Harken stock. Harken held the stock as collateral .. The loans were reported several times in filings to sec. He retired the debt in 1993 and Harken stopped practice of loans to officers.

Flash.. In large type in Philly new page 3............ BUSH AT ODDS WITH HIS PAST OVER LENDING....
It would be nice to see some constructive coverage over the proposals by these reporters.

I thought back in 80's 90's etc it was common practice for management loans.. Often to move a promising executive into a high cost area the company would give them a low cost loan to buy a house. When money was not available in several moves during early 80's due to high rates etc. corporations became the lender.
