I just noticed this. I'm certainly buying a small load. I was kind of hoping to get some shares cheaper. Not really sure what to do now. I think I'm going to get about 1000 share today or tomorrow. If it drops more I might pick up another 1000. I'm pretty heavy cash right now, and wouldn't mind buying a few shares.

I've read a couple of articles this morning saying the heavy selling into this bear can often lead to a bottom.

Rollin the dice ... Baby needs a new pair a shoes!!!

I'd say Fidelity must be extremely impressed with Hammer to now own 10% of AMD and over the past quarter have increased their stake while decreasing other tech holdings. Hopefully, their research department has thoroughly investigated this. They should have access to information none of us on this thread would see.

dhellman,

Re: "Fidelity bought nearly 9 million shares in the chipmaker, giving it
holdings of 35 million shares. It now owns 10.3% of the company, up from
7.7%. Despite the institutional support, AMD has lost 42% of its value in
he same period."

Must have been a lot of other sellers ... Just imagine what will happen to
AMD if Fidelity "pulls out".

Make It So,
