You know, I could really care less about the wall street printing press. Supply and demand is a fraud. Price movements from the word go are a joke. You think we would be in this mess if WS wasn't allowed to do 30 billion dollar WCOM bonds and GE bonds the size of small countries? IPO's that wouldn't exist without the loans that are paid off the minute the stock starts trading and overallotments that make WS boys richer. Why don't we leave the companies alone and just regulate WS boys. Regulation never works anyway. It just kills everything. We could regulate the options market. It will kill it. regulate the bond market. It will kill it. We can regulate the guys moving the prices around. It will probably kill that too. It ain't going to happen but we could try. Sure why not. I think this incidious backlash against control may only begining. It's all a joke anyway. You can try so hard but what's the point. Once government gets involved just start up the funeral march.
